RP-36 is a 2.5-way construction, with a bass-reflex enclosure. It has silk high-frequency 25mm dome with protective mesh and two low-mid-frequency 155mm drivers with the coils from the coated cellulose and frame from hardened plastic. In order to limit vibration introduced speakers are rigidly mounted on 8 screws. The enclosure is constructed of MDF board, front side is reinforced with additional layer (it is now 24mm thick). Sides of the enclosure are not parallel, but they are arc-shaped. Internal is lined with artificial wool. Crossover is built with high-end components: air coils and polypropylene capacitor in high-frequency section. This speakers has dual gold-plated couplings. Everything is mounted on brass spikes.
