Libra Speakers are one of the newest achievements of Rubicon. Housings of all speakers of this series have been lute shaped which greatly reduces the amount of standing waves and this makes distortion disappear. Libra Center is a 2-way, bass-reflex type speaker with the port placed at the front, below the tweeter. High-quality drivers and two 125mm mid-low frequency speakers made of cellulose with a big magnet (with an extra block attached) and a sheet metal basket. A small 25mm textile dome tweeter powered by an exquisite neodymium magnet is responsible for the high tones. The housing is made of thick MDF board and filled with damped material. Very good elements were used in the crossover, e.g. polypropylene capacitors and an air coils. Veneer housing is natural or high-polish with piano black or silver lacquer.
